Full-day excursion to the enchanting Ba Na Hills and Golden Bridge

Today, an adventure-packed day awaits you on this full-day excursion, brimming with unique experiences for young and old alike. The pictureque scenery at Ba Na Hills in the Truong Son Mountains takes most people’s breath away, and you feel your stomach lurch as you glide in a cable car across the jungle and waterfalls up to the spectacular Golden Bridge, which hovers majestically in the sky. At the top of the mountain, you can look forward to more adventure in the amusement park itself.

The guide will pick you up from the hotel in the morning, and after around a 1.5-hour drive, you arrive at the cable car, which takes you on a stunning 15-minute ride up to an altitude of 1,400 metres. An impressive sight meets you at the top, where the Golden Bridge suddenly appears, hovering on 2 large hands carved out of stone. The bridge was completed in 2018 and has quickly gained world renown for its spectacular design in the midst of a magical mountain range, designed to look like God’s hands lifting up a piece of the earth, like a path in the sky. The area at the cable car’s intermediate station was originally established in 1919 by the French colonial power, among other things for storing wine due to the cooler temperatures, which are typically 10 degrees below the temperature at the coast. Here, you will have time to walk around the beautiful, colourful flower gardens also known as “Le Jardin d’Amour” – the Garden of Love – from which a giant white Buddha looks out over the mountain and lush hills. Further along the cable car ride up to the top of the mountain, you are welcomed by the castle towers. You are now in the heart of the park, and a fairytale landscape of various changing themes opens up to you, including the carnival in Rio, a French village, a Japanese tea house and much more besides. Here, you have free admission to most amusements for children and adults alike. After a nice lunch, you can have a go on the rides on your own, just walk around and enjoy the surroundings, buy souvenirs or take a rest at one of the many cafés and restaurants or in a quiet corner of the park such as the Linh Ung Pagoda.

After a day of adventure, you head back to Hoi An, arriving at the hotel late afternoon.

This excursion is open to TourCompass’ own guests only.

We recommend that you book the excursion when booking the tour.
