Zula Zanzibar
Nestled among swaying palms on the vibrant Paje Beach, you’ll find the boutique hotel, Zula.
The décor is simple with light colours contrasting against the dark wooden furniture, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere.
At the heart of the hotel, you’ll discover the pool surrounded by comfortable sun loungers. There are also sun loungers and bean bags on the beach, with an additional smaller pool above the restaurant providing a lovely view of the sea.
There are only 32 rooms, and most offer views over the pool area—or even better, the sea. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a safety box, and Wi-Fi, and come with either a terrace or balcony complete with outdoor furniture.
Meals are enjoyed in the restaurant and are served ‘à la carte’—including breakfast.
Once a week, there is usually live music in the restaurant, and yoga or strength training sessions are regularly held on the beach in the morning. Feel free to ask at the reception for more information.
