It is for good reason that Bali is known as the island of a thousand temples. The Hindu culture is very much in evidence on the island and can be experienced at some of the unique temples. Visit, for example, Tirta Empul, a holy spring water temple. Explore the romantic temple hand in hand and experience the culture right up close.

Bali is also the epitome of beautiful nature. The area of the highlands around Ubud is like something out of a fairy tale. Volcanoes, green-clad mountains, rice terraces and deep gorges characterise the area’s diverse scenery. If you so wish, you can enjoy the nature at even closer quarters on a rafting or cycling tour.
